Gruppo Edilcentro shpk was established in 1996 by President Augusto Nidoli
In the period 1997-1998, the new and most modern factory was built in Albania for the production of all kinds of bricks. The investment was made on an area of 76,000 m2 in Laprake, about 3 km from the center of Tirana. The new factory is the fruit of the most advanced Italian technology and provides products of the standards of the countries of the European community. The total investment is about 12 million euros.
The production phases are under automatic control and under a strict observation of the technological process. In its beginnings, the factory produced 4 types of bricks, while today there are over 40 types, including decorative bricks.
Today Edilcentro shpk is one of the leading companies in Albania in the field of high quality brick production.
In October 2004, the company started the first investment of this type in Albania, that of the production of tiles. The investment is based on contemporary European technology and contains the art of modern technology. It covers an area of 5,400 m2. The investment amounts to 8.5 million euros.
Today, Gruppo Edilcentro produces the entire range of tiles, from Natural, Glazed, to Colored.
Albania, from a tile importing country until 2004, today has turned into a high quality exporter. The products are valued for the high characteristics certified by the Italian Institutes of this field.
